Rafael Barrera, CO, BOCO
Rafael is an ABC and BOC certified Orthotist with Orthotic and Prosthetic Designs, specializing in adult and pediatric bracing. He has been in the field for 32 years. Rafael comes into work every day wanting to improve on the braces he delivers to his patients. In 2009 he did just that. Rafael combined his love of all things mechanical, and his desire to improve his clients lives and focused that passion on building a better brace. He then developed and patented the bracelock, a quick disconnect component used in both orthotics and prosthetics to remove the knee section from the leg/ankle section of the device.

Julie Kean, CPO, BOCPO, CMF
Julie is an ABC and BOC Certified Prosthetist Orthotist and a BOC Certified Mastectomy Fitter with OPD. She believes in customizing each prosthesis and orthosis to fit the wearer's needs. She has been in the field for 26 years. Julie is a graduate of Iowa State University. She completed her Prosthetics education with honors at California State University at Dominguez Hills Julie fulfilled her residency requirement at Nevada Limb and Brace in Las Vegas Nevada. Crystal Everett, CMF
Crystal is a BOC certified mastectomy fitter with OPD with 18 years of experience in the field. Crystal‘s goal is to help breast cancer survivors who have undergone mastectomy surgery regain a positive body image and enjoy their femininity she has created a private and comfortable setting to carry out her goal at OPD.

Ben is an ABC Certified Orthotic Assistant, and a Certified Fitter of Orthotics with OPD. He is a second-generation practitioner with 12 years in the field.

Judith joined the OPD family in January 2016.
